Keeping Families Connected is a unique and renowned non profit organization that is avidly working to ensure that no adverse event breaks families apart. Keeping Families Connected is pleased to announce 7 Black Dress Gala & Celebrity Fundraiser, an event to honor the 7 year anniversary of Keeping Families Connected plus contributions made by Mother’s that keep our communities thriving. In honor of Mother’s Day, Keeping Families Connected wants the community to understand the selfless role that mothers play in keeping the whole family connected and together. This will be a star-studded affair with lots of Celebrity Moms in attendance checking in to let the world know that Mother’s are truly special and deserve to be celebrated.

Mechelle Tucker, CEO of 1st Class Consultant, one of the key organizers for the celebrity charity event, was quoted as saying, “For any family to stay connected, a mother’s role is the most crucial of it all. We wanted to have an event that could actually celebrate this and so we decided to do so, in honor of Keeping Families Connected 7th year anniversary”.

There are several celebrity mothers who are expected to be a part of the event. Some of the noteworthy mentions include Sherhonda Gaulden, mother of NBA Youngboy; Brenda Thompson, mother of Syleena Johnson; Karlissa Saffold, mother of Blue Face; Frances Wellington, mother of J Holiday; Nancy Jones, mother of Jim Jones. The event will see plenty of Celebrity Moms together, as well as KFC Mom Honorees, Capri Truvillion, Real Estate Mogul; Gayun Mathews, CEO of Open Hearts Children and Family Services; Jasmine Howard, mother of Baby Carlee will also be honored at the event. Selected Moms will share their testimonials LIVE for the Television Filming of NFT Show Celebrity Mama’s Check In, Sponsored By NFT Glee Official.

This May 7 evening will be the time to celebrate the love of mothers and their essential role in keeping families alive and connected, no matter what. Hosted by Media Moguls Claudia Jordan and Elizabeth De Moraes, guests will enjoy plenty of vendors, fashion, fine food and entertainment. A special attraction will be live performances by songstress Lyric Iman & singer R.L Stafford (Lil Nas X Dad). Some of the top models and designers from DFW will showcase black dresses for the event and the dresses in turn will be auctioned. The event will end with a Special Birthday Celebration for Keeping Families Connected Founders Letitia & Fred Jackson.

Still wondering about things to do in Dallas, TX this weekend for Mother’s Day, the 7 Black Dress Charity Gala & Celebrity Fundraiser is the event you don’t want to miss.

Keeping Families Connected

KFC is a federally recognized non-profit organization in the DFW metroplex. We provide free transportation to and from correctional facilities for families of incarcerated loved-ones. Our organization was birthed out of a personal desire to make meaningful contributions to the lives of those who are incarcerated and the family members they are separated from. At Keeping Families Connected we don’t believe the bars have to become barriers.
