The non-profit organization seek for financial assistance to avoid shutting down

December 9, 2019 – PassionLA, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk teens in LA announces their willingness to partner with volunteers who are ready to provide financial support or any other support that is geared towards the success of the organization. PassionLA help teens develop spiritual, emotional, and relational health on the eastside of Los Angeles

“We are trying to raise funds for our organization that might have to shut down, we started as a department of an affluent church in the area but that church moved and was going to shut down the program. We already made effort to keep the program up and running by the collective effort of the Pastor that started the program, local leaders and other students and that has made us operational for a year and a half now but we are struggling and that is why we need volunteers who can support us,” says Bobby Lopez.

PassionLA organize programs that reaches hundreds of young people weekly in the East Side of LA through and they are proud to have a 17 year lineage in the East Side of LA which has not just impacted the lives of students but generations that will come out of those students. They reach out to young people from ages 5-25 in order to provide emotional support, spiritual development, and mentorship to at risk young people.

PassionLA started based on the impact the trauma of poverty had on the Executive Director when he was growing up and all he wants is to stop the negative impact on kids lives and their program meets with teens in local programs such as juvenile probation, foster care, high schools, Gang Reduction Youth Development, Boys and Girls clubs and more to teach emotional and relational health. Not neglecting faith-based programs and leadership development meetings for kids, teens, and young adults.

Their biggest meeting is Wednesday Nights at an Affluent Korean Church that allows them to use their building and buses. PassionLA is in danger of shutting down if it doesnt get the funds it needs to keep operating. Their staff is all local young people who grew up through the trauma and drama of poverty. Please, a great organization with programs like this should not go into extinction and that is why they are soliciting for help.
